We love Adelaide and we are fortunate to visit quite regularly. In summer the azure waters of the gulf and the sun setting over the water gives the coastline it’s magic. Cool weather sees the Hills transform into a fairy tale. The bush turns a lush green, dripping with the early morning dew. Giant paper barks stand tall and proud along the side of the windy roads and the iconic vineyards contrast so wonderfully, neat rows rising up from the overgrown gully’s bellow.

A wedding is the occasion for our visit this time and we are staying with some friends in their circa 1800’s cottage in the hills. With the sun shining, you couldn’t wish for a more perfect winter day for the Bride and Groom – also makes for a lively morning for a walk on the property around the cottage.
