I know, I know, we are on holidays how on earth could we be in need of some R&R? Well truthfully all the driving and exploring has been tiring!

Once we arrived in Darwin we treated ourselves to a few nights at a backpackers hostel. It seemed so luxurious to not have to set up and pack up the tent everyday!

We washed the car, the sheets, our clothes and ourselves and spent a few days taking it pretty easy and recharging the batteries. Darwin is a pretty cruisy kind of a town so we enjoyed browsing through the markets and the local art galleries and watching the sun set over the ocean. We napped, spent time in the sun reading our books and Rob even treated the both of us a massage.

Darwin is a great little town and complete with a very very fascinating war history. We very much enjoyed the aviation museum which housed a B-52 bomber. One of only two outside the US.

Anyway, keeping this one short but wanted to give a big shout out and thanks to everyone following the blog. We have been getting up to 100 hits per day and are feeling so loved!
